Former child actress Brittany Snow got her start in daytime soaps but she eventually made a name for herself playing spunky 1960s teens in the nostalgic TV series "American Dreams" (ABC, 2002-05) and the blockbuster musical, "Hairspray" (2007). Her hilarious turn playing snooty, bubble-haired Amber von Tussle in the Broadway adaptation of the latter landed her a rapid succession of big screen roles.
