Born in Queens and raised on Long Island, she began her modeling career at age 16 and has been seen on more than 600 magazine covers. Alt perhaps is best known for her 1982 Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover. Since the late 1980s, she has appeared in numerous Italian-made films and TV programs.
