Biography
After studying drama at Yale and earning his M.F.A. from San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater, Hamlin quickly made the leap to feature films, appearing in 1978's "Movie Movie," and nabbing the title role in the NBC miniseries "Studs Lonigan" (1979).
