Biography
In his native West Germany, Rademacher was a successful young athlete, becoming a ski champion at age eight. A move two years later took his adventurous family to Australia, where they herded Angora goats in New South Wales. In 1984 they headed to the coastal resort area of Queensland, where Rademacher worked on the family's vegetable farm while training to be an Ironman triathlete.
