Biography
Blonde, attractive singer-actress who began her recording career at age eighteen. Hartman's first major role was as the title character of the short-lived TV sitcom "Tabitha" (ABC, 1977-78), in which she played a witch working as a TV production assistant. She gained recognition as the drug-addicted rock star, Neely O'Hara, in the 1981 TV remake of "Jacqueline Susann's 'Valley of the Dolls" and proved so popular on the CBS nighttime soap …
