Since the late 1970s Antonowsky's career has been closely allied with that of studio head Frank Price with whom he has served in various executive marketing capacities at Columbia Pictures, Universal and once again at Columbia until Price was replaced by Mark Canton as chairman of Columbia Pictures in October 1991.
