We'd be remiss if we didn't also mention rock band Queen, which brought us chart-topping pop/opera/rock tunes such as "We Are the Champions," "We Will Rock You," and "Another One Bites the Dust" beginning in the mid-'70s. The group was still cranking out music in 1991, when frontman Freddie Mercury died of complications from AIDS. But, as Queen sang, "The Show Must Go On," and the rest of the band kept making music. They were introduced to a whole new generation when their song "Bohemian Rhapsody" was featured in the 1992 movie "Wayne's World." In 2001, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. less
