Former pro cyclist Lance Armstrong clearly has a competitive nature, but he won't be trading in his bike for the ballroom any time soon. On the heels of his scandalous doping confession, a rep for the stripped Tour de France winner told Entertainment Weekly that Armstrong has regularly been asked to compete on "DWTS," and that includes the upcoming season.

Former pro cyclist Lance Armstrong clearly has a competitive nature, but he won't be trading in his bike for the ballroom any time soon. On the heels of his scandalous doping confession, a rep for the stripped Tour de France winner told Entertainment Weekly that Armstrong has regularly been asked to compete on "DWTS," and that includes the upcoming season.

"Lance has been offered the show each and every year since its inception. Although flattered, he has passed on their generous offers," his spokesperson said.

But it's probably for the best. If Armstrong had said yes to "Dancing With the Stars," he would likely have had trouble keeping up with the show's grueling rehearsal schedules, especially since he's currently being sued by the U.S. government. Looks like we won't be seeing Tour de Foxtrot in the near future. less
