So beloved was wise-cracking teen detective Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell) -- a stun gun-toting cool chick who was always on the side of the underdog -- that fans concocted a save-the-show campaign when The CW canceled the series in 2007; the network was inundated with (what else?) Mars candy bars. Sadly, that didn't save the show, but rumors of a big-screen "Veronica Mars" movie live on.
