'ER': Where Are They Now?

It's been nearly 19 years since "ER" first brought the doctors and nurses of County General Hospital into living rooms across the country; it's been almost four years since the show went off the air. The series introduced viewers to dozens of great actors, including George Clooney, Noah Wyle, and Julianna Margulies, who have all gone on to be heavy hitters in entertainment.

Right now seems like a good time to be an "ER" alum because these A-listers are cropping up everywhere on the big and small screens. Both Anthony Edwards and Goran Visnjic have new series premiering soon: "Zero Hour" (Feb. 14) and "Red Widow" (March 3), respectively. Gloria Reuben has a supporting role in the Oscar-nominated film "Lincoln," and John Stamos has a recurring role on Ryan Murphy's "The New Normal." Yvette Freeman (Nurse Haleh Adams)

Yvette Freeman is one of the only recurring characters to appear on every season of "ER." She made her first appearance as Nurse Haleh Adams in the two-hour pilot and wrapped up her run in the two-hour series finale. All in all, she was on the show a total of 186 times over 15 seasons.

After the series ended, she continued her onscreen medical career in the world of daytime soaps. She played Nurse Lesley in several episodes of "Days of Our Lives" and Dr. Lewis in "The Bold and the Beautiful," a role that garnered her an NAACP Image Award nomination in 2010.

Freeman has also worked behind the camera, directing, writing, and/or producing several short films -- "Remember," "The Blessing Way," and "Hideous Scream." In 2012, she wrote and directed an episode of the TV miniseries "Wishful Things." She is also a singer and released her most recent album, "In My Arms," in December 2011. less
