"Family Ties" fans know Marc Price as the Keatons' nerdy neighbor Irwin "Skippy" Handleman. But after the sitcom ended, Price did only a few more scripted gigs on projects like the "ABC Afterschool Special" and "Killer Tomatoes Eat France!"
Instead of continuing on the traditional acting path, Price turned his attention to standup comedy. Over the years he's opened for headliners like Jerry Seinfeld and hit the road with Weird Al Yankovic. Ironically, he didn't advance past his first-round audition in the Season 4 opener of "Last Comic Standing."
Price didn't give up on TV entirely. He hosted "Teen Win Lose or Draw" for three seasons and produced the game show "National Lampoon's Funny Money" in 2003. Plus he's stepped behind the lens to create and produce the humor-fueled environmental special "The Green Collar Comedy Show."
These days, Price oversees the Internet comedy series he co-created, "Budd Friedman's iJoke.com," which can be seen on YouTube.
