Unfortunately, what we see on-screen doesn't always last long after the final rose. Let's face it; "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" are among the most romantic shows on TV. Who could resist a love journey complete with fantasy dates in exotic locales, all ending in one epic rose ceremony? Unfortunately, what we see on-screen doesn't always last long after the final rose. Even diehard romantics like us have to admit the franchise's relationship success rate is pretty low: After 10 years of matchmaking, 16 completed seasons of "The Bachelor," and seven seasons of "The Bachelorette," a full four out of 23 "official" couples are still together.

As much as Rosemaster Chris Harrison and company like to say that "The Bachelor" breakups match real-life dating statistics, most of us don't end our engagements after just a couple of months. That's not normal, right?
