"Survivor: One World," the 24th installment of CBS's hit reality competition show that launched Feb. 15, features the franchise's first-ever little person castaway: Leif Manson, a 27-year-old phlebotomist from California. On Feb. 19, HBO debuts Ricky Gervais's latest comedy series, "Life's Too Short," which stars not the acerbic Brit comic but the dryly hilarious Warwick Davis, the little person best known for his roles in sci-fi and horror fare such as "Return of the Jedi" (he was Wicket the Ewok), "Willow," and "Leprechaun." And then on April 1, the second season of HBO's "Game of Thrones" kicks off, bringing back the universally praised Peter Dinklage, who has already won an Emmy and a Golden Globe for his role as the conniving royal dwarf Tyrion Lannister. While this is a significant time for actors who are little people, it's not the first time they've played high-profile parts on television.
