"The Mindy Project" (Fox)

In fairness, no show could have lived up to the hype that preceded "The Mindy Project," and it's not as if the show's bad. It's often hilarious and sharp. But it has issues: Mindy's cluelessness is sometimes off-putting, especially for a lead character; Stephen Tobolowsky and Anna Camp have both been squandered; the show wants Mindy and Danny to get together, which is clichéd (see: "Friends," every other sitcom) and weird... more
