WINNER: “Dallas” (TNT)

TNT certainly struck gold with its new-look update of the classic ‘80s primetime soap. “Dallas” has been a ratings gusher so far, raking in 6.9 million viewers with last month’s two-hour premiere. The appeal is easy to understand: Older fans love getting a chance to see what the Ewing family is up to these days, and the cast is stocked with pretty young people for the CW crowd.
