TV's Best Vampires and Werewolves

Vampires and werewolves ... you can't escape the fang gangs on the big screen or TV these days. And while the movie creatures are getting all the attention this week (thanks to the release of the final "Twilight" movie), we'd argue that the small screen, too, has a long history of sinking its teeth into the genre. He can be as loyal and fiercely protective as he is vicious and deadly, which is what makes Eric the most interesting, most developed character in Bon Temps. He also has one of the best vampire backstories: His thirst for blood sparked from his thirst for revenge against the murderer of his Viking family more than a thousand years ago.
