TV's Best Vampires and Werewolves

Vampires and werewolves ... you can't escape the fang gangs on the big screen or TV these days. And while the movie creatures are getting all the attention this week (thanks to the release of the final "Twilight" movie), we'd argue that the small screen, too, has a long history of sinking its teeth into the genre. From Barnabas Collins to the current bloodsuckers (who are among primetime's sexiest men), and from little Eddie Munster to the young lycanthropes on "Teen Wolf," these are the guys who get our votes as TV's all-time greatest vampires and werewolves. — Kimberly Potts, Yahoo! Caring, sweet-natured Scott is new to the wolf game (thanks to a bite) and sees his new abilities as a curse. Derek, meanwhile, was born to be a big bad wolf. But as with all the best TV vampires and werewolves on our list, his motivations -- a wolf hunter killed most of his family -- make him a more complicated and vulnerable figure than he initially might have seemed to be.
