There really is so much beauty on our planet, some that we will never encounter. I'm glad they did Planet Earth, it really shows us everything that's worth saving on our planet.

Planet Earth shows the true greatness of life and evolution, It shows how big and diverse life is and how humans are but a small and overly destructive force in the great scheme of things.

So much to see. How many people will be able to visit all these places in their lifetime? This gives the world an incredible opportunity to see places we will never go.

This show was made for HDTV. If you watching it in standard TV you are missing the real beauty. I hope that Discovery keeps this going for a long time.
