current no limit poker greats battling it out
April 11, 2007
I like poker after dark, as it pits most of the better no-limit hold-em players on the tour. Whats unique is that instead of seeing a long drawn out tournament, we get to see every week a final table of established pros. In the televised world of no limit poker this is certainly unique. Keep up the good work, and I hope to see more fresh new episodes in the future.

Great to watch and learn...and we don't have to hear Norman Chad and his stupid comments. Best tournament style poker show on TV. High Stakes (cahs game) is the best.
When is season 3 start?

I LOVE this show.

I LOVE this show. It's on late, so I tape it.
I feel like these poker stars are my buddies, and wish I were affluent enough to play too!
I have favorites, but then someone who's not winning might be the one I'll root for! They're smart, yet even so, luck plays a big part in a win.
It tickles me when I see an outrageous bluff! But sometimes that backfires!
My grandfather loved his cards - much to grandma's frustration, and he either wasn't lucky, or as good as the current players.
It's my understanding that his parents had a farm and some of the 'not too honest' gents of the era, would stop by the farm, (actually hide out), and play cards for days on end.
In those days, they were apparently just 'good ol boys'?
It's fun listening to Doyle's tales of the old days too.
I'd like brief bios of the players, what they do for a living, families, do their children play, etc.
It's fun when the ladies play and they are as sharp as the men.
Anyyone can have a great hand, but the flop can bury them!
My daughters think it's wierd that I watch Poker shows but I find it interesting, and fun to watch. Also, hope am learning.

Great fun to watch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really enjoy watching poker after dark. The stories and joking among the players is great fun to listen to. Making some of the gutty bets is very interesting and watching someone lay down an over pair, in the pocket, take nerve and a stone face by the high better. Doyle Brunson, Phil Ivy, Phil Helmuth are some of my favorites to watch. Doyle tells some great, old time, stories.
( The show with Gabe Kaplan was really fun to watch !!!! )
Keep up the good work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! see you later.......

If you like poker, this is the bomb. A great learning tool too!! I just started leaning the game. This show gives me the feel of a real home (kitchen tabel) session. A chance to watch the best of the best is a "must watch" if you are a student of the game.
