"Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark": best episode yet

This review is just for the fall finale, Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark. Ever since I saw the promo, I have been impaciently waiting for this episode. The episode was suspenseful and funny at the same time. Seeing Shawn in danger was relatively new to me, and now that he got SHOT... wow. I would like to see more of the vulnerable Shawn that James Roday so amazingly played in the episode. On James Roday... I cannot believe his talent. I realize how hard it is to play someone who is injured, and he succeeded. I give his performance an A-double-plus.
The phone call to Juliet from Shawn...the most heart-wrenching scene in the whole show EVER. I couldn't believe he said abigail at the end, though. Poor Juliet. And poor Shawn. Seriously, this guy gets shot and dumped in the trunk of a car, but when he finally escapes he happens to run into the bad guys' partner, resulting in him getting kidnapped yet AGAIN. Not a good day...
This episode was the most epic one ever. I really, really, REALLY hope they do more with suspense and danger, because this one stole the show. (I can't wait until Season Four comes out on DVD!)

Not enough of a good thing

Psych has become one of my favorite shows, but I have to say this season has disappointed me. Dont' get me wrong...the episodes have been great...there just aren't enough of them. A week on, then a week off, then on, then off? Seriously? You can do better than that. AND, the season finale (only the 9th episode of the season) is tonight? That's not a season, guys. Psych is the funniest show on TV. Shawn and Gus together are just hysterical. My favorite episode is when Gus' college buddies come back. You talk about LOL. I love this show. Shawn and Gus are very funny working together. My wife and I watch this show together every week along with Monk. The show does a good job of putting comedy into the typical crime/detective drama series. If you haven't seen this show, check it out. You won't be disappointed.Was this review helpful to you?
