I actually WATCHED the pilot... and liked it alot
September 4, 2007
Don't you just love it when folks pipe in with their opinions on something, without even having first-hand experience of the subject they're reviewing? I watched the pilot and thought this show is a gem! The writing is solid, the characters and acting works well for the show, and although the storyline is similar to other shows involving grim reapers, it has it's own style that makes it stand out above those shows. You can definitely feel Kevin Smith's hands throughout the episode, which is a good thing if you like his movies. The show doesn't take itself too seriously and is just a fun way to spend your TV hour. There's alot of buzz for this show, and with good reason. So give the pilot a chance, and don't go around posting reviews for things you know nothing about! Watch a show before you review or post a rating!

whats wrong with you people?

I don't nderstand why when i find a show thats well written, well casted and i really enjoy it gets taken off the air. The characters are all well developed, the dialouge is witty. I look foward to the escape of this show, real life is crazy enough without having to see it at every turn. didn't ou people learn anything over the writers strike, people didn't want to watch all the reallity $#!& that was on,didn't your ratings go down severly? give reaper and aliens in america another chance!!!!! seinfeld, friends and a host of other great shows took a little while to find a following. Just think of firefly, i would have loved to see that show succeed, but NO, it took off in the dvd deparment,i wonder how much it made after some big shots thought shows like girlicious, oh forget it, not worth my time arguing with the people who just don't think there are aan intellegent people watching.

A newcomer and old timer really shine.
September 26, 2007
I watched this yesterday and thought there were some really exceptional moments. Tyler Labine and Ray Wise steal every scene they're in, I don't think that's a bad thing, they both have flawless comic timing and completely inhabit their characters. The line where Ray Wise describes overcrowding in in Hell and says ...I blame myself , made me roar. There is obvious creative talent behind this show, my only recommendation is go with it and trust yourselves.

I almost didn't watch this. I'm glad I did.

I almost didn't watch this show because I didn't like the title. I'm glad that I watched it because it was entertaining and funny. I love the characters, Sock and Sam. The story line is definitately interesting, too. I didn't find out until after I had watched it that it was a Kevin Smith show. No wonder it was great.

Laugh out loud F-U-N-N-Y!

Well hurray!!! Reaper has been given a 13-episode pickup for mid-season. Was worried but am disappointed about the number of episodes. Tuesdays are rough for this diamond in the rough show, pitted against Idol. I hope the CW doesn't give up on it.
