Episode Description

Niobe appears to Vorenus in her sleep. Memmio and Carbo come to Vorenus asking for permission to seek revenge on Quintus Bubo who defiled a young boy, but Vorenus warns them not to touch Bubo. Octavia, and her rich houseguest, Jocasta smoke weed. And after initially complaining, Atia joins them. Timon tries to visit Atia, but she won't see him. Atia confronts Mark Antony about coming home late and she is angry about going to Macedonia. Quintus Bubo is found beaten and brought to Vorenus. Vorenus wants to punish Memmio, but Pullo thinks that will start a war. Pullo admits he knew about Niobe's child. Mark Antony meets with Cicero and tells him he is changing his focus from Macedonia to Gaul. Cassius tries to raise money from the local dignitaries. Brutus brags about killing Caesar, but the men he brags to are more amused than impressed. Later, Brutus goes into the water and begs to be cleansed of his sins. Mark Antony arrives late to the Senate only to discover that Cicero has not arrived at all, but he has sent a letter which is read. Cicero gives his support to Octavian. Pullo and Eirene escape from Vorenus and return to the Aventine to find the city burned.
