Following the AMPTP's Monday "final offer" to SAG, the two parties met Wednesday, per SAG's request. Facing their contract expiration deadline at 12 a.m. Tuesday, the actors union had requested more time to examine the deal.

Wednesday, the groups met for a Q&A session about the offer, which the AMPTP says is worth more than $250 million in additional compensation for SAG members over the next three years. After a four-hour meeting, SAG asked for a few more days to parse the pact, with a plan to reconvene with producers Monday for a final decision (we hope). According to the AMPTP, no further pow wows have been planned.
