Sanjaya Malakar

One half of the singing siblings who made it to Hollywood week via Seattle, WA, Sanjaya Malakar, 17, watched sadly as his sister was voted off before the season 6 "American Idol" semifinals. The youngest of the male semifinalists, Malakar currently lives in Federal Way, WA, and comes from a family of singers. He spent four years in Hawaii performing with the Hawaii Children's Theater.
