    PALIN/BIDEN DEBATE

    October 6, 2008
I laughed until I had tears! So right on! SNL is alive and kicking after all these years!

Belushi, Murphy, Akryod, Chase, Radner, Candy, etc. etc. were trailblazers, and the current cast keep it all alive!

    Bravo!

    Encore!

    Ups and Downs

    November 21, 2006
SNL has had its moments of brilliance (Chris Farley's Chipindales dancing, "Matt Foley: Motivational Speaker", Wayne's World) and many many moments of awfulness.
But I still TiVo it every saturday in hopes of reliving something genius, like Eddie Murphy's "Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood".

SNL made an Ass of Palin

    October 19, 2008
It's Palin's fault of her own. She knew what the show was about. She made an ass of herself by deciding to go on SNL. She did it to herself. It clearly shows how she thinks of herself.

    goodness sakes people

    October 25, 2008
SNL has always done political figures. It is usually quite funny. They have imitated Ford, Bill Clinton, George Bush, George W. Bush, Cheney, Hillary Clinton, just to name a few. I think they pick the people who are the most fun to imitate and will make people laugh. There have been quite a few times that the actual people have appeared on SNL, knowing it was all in fun.
Thank you for the laughs, SNL, I think we can all use that right now.

(pssst....people, in case you didn't realize, SNL is not a real political show. Just in case you didn't know.)

Different strokes and different ways of thinking

    October 19, 2008
I was at first worried about how Sarah Palin would be represented on SNL. Yes they make fun of her. Yes she can make fun of herself also. I think that makes me like her even more. In my family we poke fun at each other all the time. It can be a term of endearment within boundaries. Life is already too serious. Have some fun. Sarah is a genious, no doubt about it. If she had went off crying saying "they are picking on me", I'm sure those who dont like her would of had even more negative words to say.
If a countries leader can't take a little ribbing from their own country. How do you think they would handle it from another country.
