I really hope they make it into a movie!
February 22, 2007
Sex and the City was just an amazing show with great characters and writing. I was glued faithfully every Sunday at 9 PM until cancellation. I was not an immediate fan, but once I saw it i couldn't get enough. It was a show that I could watch alone or with my fiance and it could appeal to both of us. For me, it was like Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samatha were my four girlfriends. I listened and watched as Carrie moved from relationships to Big over and over again. I was upset as she let Aiden go but enjoyed the banter she had with Big. there wasn't one character that wasn't exciting to watch.

I am really an avid fan of this show. I like all the women cast there especially the characters of Carrie and Samantha. They're all so smart, funny and fabulous! It's very entertaining and informative, especially about the idea of sex. All episodes are great and no time wasted when I watched this show.Their acting are so real and amazing, that's why as a woman I can easily relate to the show. Honestly, after the show ended in HBO, I bought a complete dvd series of this show. I already missed them that's why I'm so happy and excited when I learned this news...hope the movie will release as soon as possible!

Passion is the element in which we live
October 28, 2007
This is a real and amazing show. Passion is the element in which we live; without it, we hardly vegetate. Both men and women may desire sex, this is one of the crucial differences between men and women.
BTW, why more women/men go to casual sex seeking, such as on the casual relationship club "casualfriends.com/user/hottiecf", they just need some fun and excitement...

Make a new show like it
April 13, 2007
After watching all the dvds of Sex and the City several times, I must say it was one of the best shows written. The casting too was perfect. What made the characters great? In my opinion it was the comraderie they had; I dare say a more honest one than Friends. Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda were 4 very different women, but you could identify a little with each of them. They did not always agree, but respected each other. When two argued, the other two encouraged the two fighting to talk it out and not let it fester. They did not pit one against the other nor gossip about each other. Even when upset with one another they respected boundaries and still supported each other. Wouldn't it be great to have friends like that? They each had great careers, great clothes and contageous confidence. Their biggest concern seemed to be (which is a big part of the show) their obsession with sex. They talked like they wanted relationships but felt they had to have sex on every date. I am glad that they ended up in relationships. I still think Carrie should have kept Aiden but her character wouldn't because she had a pattern of self-sabotage. She had a great guy and she cheated on him with the one that always left her hanging (until he felt ready to commit). News Carrie, it's still all about him. My favorite thing about the show was the true star, New York City. I would love to watch another show about women friends that would have the same impact. This time I'd love to buy the dvds, so hopefully nudity and language could be toned down a bit. Not only do some of us have family, but these characters can influence the next generation. I know corny, but it is true.
