Sex and the City TV Show - Sex and the City Television Show - Yahoo! TV

Although I applaud shows written by and starring women, and their characters are smart and deep rather than stupid and shallow, along with many others I've found I can't relate to these women. They are all very skinny, beautiful and have a lot of money. They create a lot of their own problems and seem to take way too much time figuring out the simplest of life lessons [but that's the nature of TV, I guess.] I know many people are happy there's a show that speaks frankly about sex and relationships from a woman's point of view, but I have to say I've had hundreds of conversations with my own friends about these subjects that are more honest, deeper and funnier. [Especially when compared to the sanitized-for-broadcast TV versions.] Final note: SJP's glamorization and glorification of cigarette smoking is of great disservice to impressionable young women who constantly refer to her character as making it look "cool"! For shame!!!
