LOS ANGELES - Shannon Elizabeth is leaving "Dancing With the Stars."

Elizabeth, 34, and her professional partner, Derek Hough, were the low-scorers during Tuesday's results show. "The show has been amazing," she said. "I've learned a lot and I've made a friend for life."

She and Hough performed a mambo and a tango Monday on the ABC dance-off, earning 51 out of 60 points. Judges said the couple's tango was their "best dance by far," but viewer votes weren't sufficient to keep the pair on the program.

Judges' scores are combined with viewer votes to determine which couple is eliminated each week.
