Comic Relief II
A live comedy benefit for the homeless held at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. HBO telecast the first benefit in 1986. A toll-free 800 telephone number was displayed onscreen for viewer contributions to relieve the plight of the homeless in 23 cities nationwide.
