While Scott Peeley's interview involved one hard - appropriate - question after another, Steve's was a journalistic embarrasment. Was he intimidated? While Scott, again appropriately, asked Romney about the "47%" video, why did Steve omit asking about the "redistribution" tape, or the "you didn't build it" comment?
Does CBS have a professional development budget? If so, encourage Steve to use it, and spend some time at Univision where
journalists, at least in one case, actually acted like journalists - maybe Steve can pickup some pointers.
After all these years, how sad to see someone who had the opportunity to be a professional, instead act like a meek school boy
talking to an intimidating principal.
