Great even if you don't celebrate Hannukah!

First of all, I don't like the Rugrats in general. I'm also not Jewish. However, this particular show is very cute and entertaining. It's also educational, but you wouldn't know it! I used to show it every year in my preschool classroom to illustrate the actual story of Hannukah. (Even if they do refer to the Macabees as the Macababies) Kids and adults will laugh and best of all you get a sense of the way other people celebrate a holiday.

About The Show

Chanukkah special featuring characters from the animated series "Rugrats." The kids try to save their Grandpa Boris from his childhood rival, Schlomo. They also learn about the meaning of Chanukkah from a play presented by the Seniors during which Angelica is anxious to find a television so she can watch a Christmas special. The "Rugrats" kids appear as Hebrew "Macababies" in ancient times.
