About The Show

A musical whodunit, in which the book of "Aesop's Fables" is stolen. It's up to a beautiful detective to track down the culprit and return the book to its rightful place.

Once upon a time, in a land of cunning foxes, speedy hares and slow-but-steady tortoises, the annual Aesop's Fables storytelling gala is about to begin. When The Boy Who Cried Wolf announces that the book of Aesop's Fables has been stolen, nobody believes him. But the book is indeed missing, and a stunning-looking detective sets out to nab the culprit. Although interviews with Hare, Grape Fox, Grasshopper, Ant and Crow fail to produce any strong leads, the gumshoe accidentally solves the crime when she leans against a bookcase, which moves, exposing the missing book. The detective pegs the theft as a conspiracy among the characters of Aesop's Fables who were portrayed in an unfavorable light and wished to rewrite history. At the suggestion of Mouse, the offenders are let off the hook, but only after being taught that crime doesn't pay.
