Gave it one star because it wouldn't accept less. I completely agree with the other reviewer who has decided not to watch this season. After two attempts, its clear that the change in judges has completely destroyed the show. AI is designed to focus on the contestant talent. The judging should support and augment the enjoyment of the show while celebrating those who excel and correct those who do not. Rather, this group of judges tries to constantly BE the focus to the determent of the entire production. I too have watched and enjoyed it for years, in the past Paula Abdul was decent, J-Lo and Tyler were actually very good and Randy Jackson, while trying always to be too cool, actually does pull it off enough times to work. Plus, he seems to really know his stuff which makes his critique interesting. BUT the three other judges add nothing! While a beautiful singer, Mariah Carey doesn't seem comfortable and what comments she does contribute, well don't seem very intelligent. Keith Urban is so bland and nondescript his "milk toast" comments go nowhere and Nicki Minaj is just too whacked to make any sense to anyone over 7 yrs. old. The bickering and "made for TV" attempts at disagreement are tiresome and contrived.

In a single season, "The Voice" (which I never really cared for) has pulled ahead of AI by miles. Fire these guys immediately and get someone worth listening to, or cancel the show. Too bad, a show that spawned Jennifer Hudson is doomed without change.
