About The Show
As season two begins at LFT, the threat of a corporate takeover is very much alive and well as the network's grizzled owner, Emory Luddin, seems to be losing his grip on reality after being in a coma most of the first season. His wife Lydia is rumored to be courting a "big" media mogul to buy up shares of the network so she can take control. Rob hears the rumors and enlists the aid of a ".com" billionaire, Dan Falco, to act as a white knight and acquire a block of share in LGT before L.L. can take control. What Rob doesn't anticipate is that Falco's involvement may become more than he bargained for. LGT's resident back-stabber Lori Volpone is up to no good along with her scheming confidant, superagent Brad Advail, and Volpone's nemesis Casey Lennox.
Returning cast members in the second season include: Rob's son, Cary; Marty Hertz, LGT's vice president of business affairs; Russian gangster Nicky Krasnakov; and Hollywood agents Herb Kolodny and Brian Peske.
