In the two-hour finale, Hayden and Lane's preparations for round three of the last Head of Household competition leave Enzo in a bit of a funk, watching former members of the Brigade alliance he established set themselves up for the final two. In the end, after all the keys are pulled and all the votes are cast, Hayden is named the winner of season 12 and $500,000, with Britney nabbing the $25,000 fan favorite prize. less

Lane, Enzo and Hayden congratulate one another for accomplishing their season-long goal-the remaining three members of the secret Brigade alliance have made it all the way to the end of the game. As they go their own ways for the final part of the competition, Enzo hopes not winning much of anything the whole season will make him a good final two partner, while Lane looks forward to taking on Hayden one-on-one. Hayden is up for the challenge, but is still unsure what Lane will do if he beats him. less

Enzo, Lane and Hayden love that it is an all-Brigade alliance finale, but don't get too much time to celebrate as they face off in the first part of the three-part ultimate Head of Household competition. After Hayden wins round one, all three learn on the live show that no one is going home. Rather Enzo and Lane will be playing in round two of the final contest, involving correctly identifying some scrambled images of their former housemates. Lane accomplishes the task in less time, which means he will compete against Hayden in round three for the final HoH. less

Head of Household Hayden's target for the week is nominee Britney, who is the only houseguest left that is not in the secret Brigade alliance. Britney knows she has to compete hard in the upcoming veto competition. Besides Britney, the other person who is hoping she succeeds is Lane, who wants her to win, then take herself off the block and send Enzo home. This would accomplish Lane's objective for the week and allow him to go to the final three with no blood on his hands. As part of the special Wednesday eviction show, host Julie Chen checks in with the HouseGuests and explains this week the Veto ceremony will be conducted live. Hayden announces he is not going to use the veto, and will leave his nominations the same. With the veto ceremony done, the houseuests go right into the eviction. Lane and Britney both give heartfelt speeches, but the sole voter Enzo decides to stick with the Brigade. He regretfully casts his vote to evict Britney. less
