Jamie's second guessing , again. And, what happened to Jackie?

This series is one of my Friday night shows That being said, Jamie is too much Take tonights show, some lunatic is shot and killed ,by Jamie, for pulling out a gun and aiming it at a bunch of kids. Now, any cop in that position would have done the same, shoot the lunatic. Even felt some remorse, Now Jamie has to take it in all internally and then starts whining as to whether he deserves to be a cop. Even the lunatic wouldn't have blamed Jamie for shooting him, even if it means he ends up dead. Oh wait a minute, he did. Second guessing is okay when the answer is not so cut and dried, but this killing doesn't warrant any whining over it. And I miss Jackie. too. Anyone know why she was replaced?
About The Show
New York Police Commissioner Frank Reagan is the head of the police department as well as a multi-generational family of cops. Frank deals with the politics left from his father Henry's reign as Chief. Frank is proud of his oldest son Danny who is a detective on the force. His daughter, Erin is the ADA and the legal compass for the family, while the youngest son Jamie is fresh out of school and new to the force.
