About The Show
Using Charles Schultz's original Peanut's Christmas themed cartoon strips, this special consists of five 3 minute vignettes srtarring each of the core characters from the famed cast of characters. Each vignette touches upon a single Christmas theme or topic including a scrawny tree, letters to Santa, ice-skating, the bible, and love. This 18 minute segment was designed to air in tandem with the classic "Charlie Brown Christmas" to fill up the time for a second half hour in order to air the first special unedited as it ran too long for CBS's current half hour requirements.
