I love Dance Moms. I love the art of dance and most of all the children on the program are endering. The costumes and sets are enjoyable and some of the dances like Last Text touched my heart.
I used to let my granddaughter and grandson, who can relate age wise to the team, watch the show each week with me. Both are interested in dance. Miss Abby seemed like a firm but great teacher.
Now however I can't let them watch. The reason is the bad manners and language. Instead instead of watching an entertaining show, all we are getting is fighting, and curseing, and poor children crying and being punished for the deplorable actions of their moms. Miss Abby has become not much better herself, with her name calling, and horrible criticism of the children.
We tuned in for Dance Moms, not Jerry Springer. How can you expose children to this and think it is ok.
