The show was excellent for it presented things that have been going on for a couple of decades that have improved the lives of millions of inhabitants of the global world.
It presented an alternative to market globization where we have a race to the bottom in terms of finding cheap labor around the world which unfortuately rewards a select few and impoverishes many.
The classic example was in India where many farmers who bought into the belief that hybrid seeds and the pesticides of the multi-national corporations have found themselves worse of than the natural organic farmers who did not. The find themselves deeper in debt and now are commiting suicide at an alarming rate.
With Prince Charles, who will soon become King of England, narrating this documentary, the opportunity for a change in England and perhaps other democrat societies in our world, a new way to deal with world problems will be heralded in; likely resulting in a "kinder" and more humane world.
