There is nothing to dislike about this series except that there are not enough episodes per season!

Excellent show! Brilliant timeline, plot, and character interaction, along with some romance, drama, and suspense. This series gives a good insight into the lives of WWI families. Absolutely love it!more»1 of 0 people found this review helpful

This is the best show to come to the small screen in ages. The plot is complex, and the characters are all marvelously intriguing. One is soon completely involved in the characters' lives and their fates.
