Eath is in trouble, resources are gone, pollution is rampant. The good news is that space exploration has found a planet that may be suitable for colonization. Since warp drive does not exist, it will take a long time to get there, so a crew of young, highly intelligent people is gathered to go and explore the planet. They must overcome several problems on the way.
