I feel that this show does help a numbered of families, the thing that I can't understand is, the people being helped have nothing.

Based on the successful special documenting people who undergo makeovers that go from simple teeth whitening and changes in style, but also include drastic plastic surgery and simliar procedures to achieve a complete new look.
