This was smart TV! The acting, the writing, the music, the cast was first rate. It was funny, serious and at times very sad. Nothing like it then or since. I had all the shows taped until the tape was accidentally erased. What a loss.... I hope someday …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

This was one of the best series, that never made it. It was almost entirely African American cast, except for one white Jewish lawyer. It took place mainly in a restaurant in New Orelean , that Frank who was raised in Boston inherited from his father. …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful
