Second Season Disappointment - So Far

star33

I would give the first season 5 stars without question. A great series that kept the story moving, often in unexpected directions. After 2 episodes of season 2, I find myself asking why am I watching this borefest? Unlike season 1, season 2 is slow and tedious to watch. It may be building up to something, but how long will this drag on before viewers start turning to Swamp People or Holmes Inspection for excitement? I know these series shows are modeled after soap operas, but the best ones, like season 1 of GoT, don't remind us of that fact for 60 minutes each week. Instead they keep us on the edge of our seats anticipating the next scene leaving us asking for more. We dread the end of each episode. This season, I am looking at the clock to see how much time is left hoping there is enough time for somethig interesting to happen. I look forward to next week in the hope that my patience will be rewarded with a storyline at some point.
