Gene is absolutely NOT an attractive man, BUT a good business man and has apparently taken good care of his family. SO, what is the problem with marrying Shannon? Surely, u get that women only want u as a status thing...why, I don't get it. Just do something or get off the pot. Perhaps this is a way to stimulate the ratings? Your children seem more mature than you, Gene, a lot of the time. If you are stringing the public along to perpetuate the show, OK, but if your life ALONE as an old weird dude is what you are after, go for it.
