I started watching Girls a few weeks ago. I was surprised after the first episode, i. e. how the cast seems to draw the audience into their story. After the first show in a few days I finished watching Season 1. My only critism is that much of the show is too dark. I don't live in a house as dark as the apartments in this series. I then discovered that Season 2 just started. I have become a fan of this show and cable's Dexter.
I call this refreshing television.
