Caught off guard

Normally I love to watch Glee. It is funny, full of talent, and very entertaining. Even cranky Sue is hilarious. However, I thought the kissing last night between the two gay boys was WAY over the top. Teenagers are still very impressionable. Just as smoking and drinking on camera have been removed during prime time tv, so should this type of behavior. The actors are portraying teenagers. It was not appropriate for television during the family hour. I'm afraid I won't be watching Glee any more. Too bad because this show had a lot to offer as a family show. Now it will go down in history as a show that cut its own throat by going over the top. Move over Janet Jackson, Dixie Chicks, and others who have enjoyed enormous success and proven their worth as entertaners, but made some bad decisions and have suffered the consequences. Some areas might be ready to accept this behavior but mainstream America is not.
