While the big stage results of the first episode were unrealistic, the problems faced by music teachers in today's schools were well represented. A lack of funding and competition for student participation without faculty support is a mountain that overwhelms many school extra-curricular musical efforts. Hopefully, this show will help raise peer prestige for such programs.
