I loved the creative notion to present a musical. For those who were disappointed, I would suggest that they remind themselves that this is just a show; it's fiction, it's entertainment, it's theater. To decide to enhance the drama by making it a musical is not only unexpected and unusual, but an entirely different form of entertainment. Operatic, if you will. I loved that some of the voices were trained and some were just average. I loved that the cast was willing to put themselves out there like they did. I easily imagined them on stage at our Lyric Opera theater, creating one of the better ones we might buy tickets to see.
