Guilty Hearts

I have seen this movie MANY times -- each time I am deeply touched by heart felt moments between Jenny and her husband, their children, the members of the church, and the sub-plot - the wife and her murder. I was really touched by her husband's admittance of his role leading to his separation from Jenny, his forgiveness and endearing support. Most of all, although the movie is about an affair and its affects, I especially enjoyed -- to the point of tears -- the love and affection from those around Jenny.

I love Guilty Hearts because it is about adultery, the circumstances leading to such a relationship, the pretenses, the vunerability, the affects, and the consequences. While the majority of such affairs do not lead to murder, many adulterous relationships are temporary with grave endings. In Jenny's case, because of her honesty, kindness, vunerability, forthrightness, and love; she was forgiven and supported by all. The movie is about Jenny, an affair with a member of her church, her guilt, forgiveness, love.
